Keystone car insurance was never an authority in the auto insurance business, but had attracted many customers and had a pretty decent business going. It was clearly one of the smaller car insurance companies available back in the day and didn’t draw in as many customers as Geico, State Farm, and Progressive because it clearly didn’t have enough marketing dollars to compete.
However, these days there are plenty of smaller companies like Keystone auto insurance that could provide you with the coverage that you need for an even better price than the biggest names. It is important to always consider different types of insurance companies whenever you are looking to get insurance because some of them may have better overall deals than you originally had expected.
Keystone Car Insurance Review: No Longer In Business?
What many people don’t know, though, is that Keystone insurance appears to no longer be in business. If you had a policy with them and were happy with the services that they provided, you are going to need to look elsewhere. There were many people that stuck with Keystone through times when they didn’t know whether they would stay in business and it appears that their entire business model has collapsed. They no longer have any online presence and there is no information left to contact them. So how does an auto insurer like Keystone collapse and end up going out of business?
How Did Keystone Go Out of Business?
Well, any company that is mismanaged or running a poor business model is going to end up going out of business. I don’t know exactly what happened with this particular company, but my guess is that they just weren’t drawing in enough people. When you don’t draw in enough business as an insurer, it is very difficult to offer savings to your customers and better deals than other companies. The more total people that you draw in, the better chance you have of staying alive because you can offer savings and hire more people to provide quality customer service.
The Importance of Choosing An Insurer with Longevity
Some people claim that Keystone car insurance quotes were fairly competitive with other companies, but even if they were, it doesn’t matter now because they are out of business. If they ever make a comeback, you can consider them as an insurer, but it likely won’t be under the same name of “Keystone.”
There is currently no way to get a Keystone insurance quote to see what you would have been charged on one of their policies because they completely vanished. In order to make sure that you are getting good coverage these days, you will want to make sure that the insurer that you choose is not on the verge of going out of business. If you end up choosing an insurer that is going to shut down their business, it is going to be very frustrating for you as a customer.
